Our research centers on the interaction of light with various organic materials. By understanding these interactions at the molecular level, we can employ light to introduce novel material capabilities. We investigate how light can introduce strain in molecular structures and trigger phase changes, with the goal of promoting sustainable solar energy storage and efficient chemical recycling.
